Due Date:
My investigation is about (could be a question you want answered or a problem):

We are investergating the Cemestry part of making Make-up.
(We are investigating the chemistry of lip-gloss.)

7th November
My hypothesis is (should be worded as a statement):

I can manufacture simple cosmetics using readily available ingredients.

7th November
Materials and equipment required to conduct my investigation:
What we need to put in the make-up:
Beeswax, Cocoa butter, Shea Butter, Petroleum Jelly, Aloe Vera Gel, Vitamin E Liquid, Peppermint Oil.
Other things that we need:
Glass Measuing cups (microwavable) or small cooking pan
Small Plastic containers with lids for your lip gloss samples
Microwavable or hot plate/stove with a double boiler pan
Popsicle sticks or wooden stirrers
Cotton swabs or flat edge toothpicks
Tissues
food scale that measures ounces
Measuring spoons
Notepad and pens/pencils
Hand Mirror
Saftey goggles
Pot holders/ hand protectors
Apron or lab coat
Minimum 10 volunteers to serve as "testers"

14th November
My experimental design (the method you will use to test your hypothesis):
Teika and I are going to make the lip gloss and then test it out on other people to see what they think is the best one and then we will see what we put in the one that they think that is the best and then we will try and chand=ge a fews things in it to see what one is the best.

14th November
Conduct experiments and submit quantitative data and graphs.
